This episode, Dockside host Diana Fu interviews Northern California’s Clean Vessel Act Team’s program manager, Natasha Daniels, about how a mobile app called Pumpout Nav is bringing boat sewage disposal into the 21st century. Special guest Winston Bumpus (avid boater , member of the Sequoia Yacht Club (San Mateo County), Recreational Boaters of California and the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association) also shares his experiences using the Pumpout Nav app as a Bay Area-based boater.

During this episode, Mike Martino, Retired CA State Parks Aquatic Safety Chief and Mike Brousard, Retired CA State Parks Lifeguard Chief, will recount their most memorable and dangerous boat rescues, the impacts the accidents had on the environment and what boat operators can do to help prevent future accidents.

Ep 2 -- Caring About Oil Spills: What You Need to Know

In this episode, we will be interviewing Bob Chedsey, Oil Spill Prevention Specialist at the CA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife Office of Spill Prevention and Response. We talk about the recent Orange County spill in Southern California, and some important information about oil spills in our state and get tips on what to do if people witness an oil spill.
